Micro flying houses: self-resourcing “The Seed”
Concept Statement
Welcome to the world of micro-flying houses! It is natural energy collector called "The Seed" as in being birth of the energy.
Seeds utilize their surface efficiently by changing their angle and altitude to capture natural resources as needed. Not only are these houses organically interacting with the light, wind, sound, and humidity surrounding themselves, but also cater their collected resource to "the seed energy centre." The seed energy centre saves up resources and generates renewable energy.
It is their life strategy to co-exist and harmonize sustainably. They sometimes float synchronously like a waggle dance for bees to communicate with each other. This self-adapting resource collector could be a seed of an idea about our future of living to thrive in a world with a lack of natural resources.
Inspiration
The initial idea was inspired by the urban environment's right to light and light pollution. It triggered me to imagine micro houses to adjust the lighting and views from the living spaces, and it has developed further to make it self-resourcing seeds. Natural resources like water, soil, air, and the light around us could be much more appreciated if we can convert it into tangible energy with ease.
