Remote Sequential Messaging System

The project <Serial Mornings> is a sequential messaging system through serial communication by Arduino. The journey reinterprets our daily morning routine. It was prompted by ‘building telematics’ during the Covid-19 pandemic. The team of three built a remote triggering system inspired by Rube Goldberg machine. The concept of one signal triggers a movement to another, suggesting a new way of building and maintaining one’s supporting bubble while we are all apart. Each individuals produced each scenes but through collaboration.
